2024 Miami Music Festival Vocal Apprentice
Isabel sung the role of 1st Spirit in the Miami Music Festival production of The Magic Flute directed by Marc Callahan and conducted by Sandra Lopez Neill. During her program, Isabel coached with Anna Fateeva, Manny Perez and sung in masterclasses for Aaron Breid and Ben Makino.
At the 2024 MMF Opera Aria Night, Isabel Amor Ferguson sang"Kommt ein schlanker bursch gegangen" from Der Freischütz by Carl Maria von Weber at The Betsy Hotel Art Gallery.
She is accompanied by CLA Artist, Gabe Shapiro at 27:07 mark in the video.
2024 A Night of Opera
Isabel Amor Ferguson created this event as a fundraiser for her cost of attending the Miami Music Festival. A Night of Opera featured breathtaking works from everyone's favorite composers, Mozart, Gounod, Puccini, Bizet, and Wagner.
Isabel shared the stage with William McCullough, alumni of the Miami Music Festival. Both were accompanied by Jae Ahn-Benton at the Epiphany Episcopal Church.
2024 Masterclass with Soprano Angela Meade
Angela Meade is an internationally acclaimed award-winning soprano, with a total of 57 vocal competition wins including the Met National Council Auditions. She also won the Metropolitan Opera’s 2012 Beverly Hills Artist Award and the 2011 Richard Tucker Award. She made her professional operatic debut on the Met stage as Elvira in Verdi’s Ernani in 2008 and has since become recognized as one of todays outstanding vocalists.
2023 UNLV Opera
La Divina
Isabel performed the role of Cecily in Thomas Pasatieri's La Divina for the UNLV Fall Opera production in November 2023 directed by DMA student, Olivia Yokers. Isabel was joined by her castmates, Dongmin Byeon, Courtney Schwalbe and Hailey Sorrell. La Divina was accompanied by Dr. Spencer Baker and conducted by Darryl Cooper. 2023 UNLV Undergraduate Spring Commencement Ceremony
Isabel was selected to sing the National Anthem at the Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Class of 2023!
2023 Undergraduate Senior Recital
Isabel's performance included music by Rossini, Donizetti, Verdi, Granados, Poulenc, Strauss, and Schumann. She was accompanied by Las Vegas-based pianist, Jae Ahn-Benton, and classical guitarist, Kyle Khembunjong. 2022 Undergraduate Junior Recital
Isabel's performance included music by Mozart, Poulenc, Fauré, Debussy, Bernstein, Barber, Obradors, and Granados. She was accompanied by Las Vegas-based pianist, Jae Ahn-Benton.

2022 NATS Las Vegas Study Awards
This competition was held in Cedar City, Utah, and Isabel won 1st Place in her category which included both treble and bass voices in all upper level colleges. Pictured here is the winners concert where she sang "Venite, inginocchiatevi" from Le Nozze de Figaro by Mozart.

In this program of scenes from various operas, Isabel performed Susanna from Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart, Lisa from Gräfin Mariza by Emmerich Kálmán, and Marietta/Contessa d'Altena from Naughty Marietta by Victor Herbert.

Body of Art Film Premier
Dr. Linda Lister wrote Body of Art which tells the story about three women and their relationship with their body as artists. Isabel performs Violet, a dancer, who discusses body dysmorphia with her opera singer classmate Giselle.

Isabel performed the role of Madame Susie Silberklang in Mozart's opera, Der Schauspieldirektor. Las Vegas Photographer, Richard Brusky captures the naive, yet playful and cheeky attitude of Susie that Isabel integrates into her performance.

Così/Werther
In this scenes program of Così fan tutte by Mozart, Isabel performed the role of Despina. She opened the show with the recitative, "Che vita maladetta" until the sextet, "Alla bella Despinetta"

Isabel performed an excerpt from Manon Lescaut by Daniel Auber as Marguerite in the Judy Bayley Theater.
She also performed an excerpt from Carmen by Georges Bizet as Mercedes.
Both scenes were directed by Dr. Linda Lister and Darryl Cooper, UNLV School of Music faculty.

Of the three pieces, Isabel sang, Debussy's Nuit D'étoiles was chosen for the virtual award ceremony on the NATS Las Vegas Study Awards

Las Vegas Academy Choir Alumni Video
2020 has been a challenging time for everyone. To provide support for the senior class of 2020 at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, Choir Alumni came together, virtually of course, to sing the LVA Choir anthem, You'll Never Walk Alone by Rodgers & Hammerstein from Carousel. The video made such a positive impact, that it was shown at the annual Las Vegas Academy Choir Banquet.
How Could I Ever Know?
For the UNLV Opera Workshop final, Isabel submitted a video recording of her solo with her German Shephard, Charlie, playing the role of Archibald. He made a great understudy and was a fantastic scene partner don't you think?

Junior Recital
Ivan Ferguson is a clarinetist at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. For his Junior Recital, Isabel joined him on the stage to perform Das Mühlrad by Conradin Kreutzer.
2020 NATS Cal-Western Regional Competition
To begin the year of 2020, Isabel took to California State University, East Bay to compete in the 2020 NATS Cal-Western Regional Competition. Here she is posing with her 2nd Place award alongside her voice teacher, Dr. Monica Williams-McCullough.
2019 District NATS Las Vegas Study Awards
Isabel won 1st Place at the 2019 District NATS Competition. Here she is performing "Widmung" by Robert Schumann at the awards ceremony with Dr. Spencer Baker accompanying her at the piano.
2019 Schmidt Vocal Institute
During her time at the Schmidt Vocal Institute at the Miami University, Isabel worked with world-renowned musicians including Martin Katz, Michael Heaston, and Pierre Vallet in both masterclasses and private coachings.
She also worked with Miami University's voice faculty and attended various workshops educating high school singers and fellow graduates on Vocal Health, Acting Skills, Diction classes, Q & A's with Cincinnati Opera's Young Artists, and learning about Fixed vs. Growth Mindsets as a musician.

Isabel Amor Ferguson won 2nd Place at the 2019 Schmidt Vocal Competition during her Senior year at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts.

Sydney Opera House
Isabel traveled to Sydney, Australia for the 2018 Honors Performance Series and was a soloist at the Sydney Opera House. This opportunity allowed her to work with Conductor and Composer, Greg Gilpin.
